They are sculptures that are individually hand crafted in Taormina stone and silver, representing a book.
The pages mutate from fluid light silver to stone, to symbolize the immanence of the written word in time.

Hand crafting Awards for events that have seriality is something that makes us proud artisans. A choice and such an anachronistic commitment, carries within it, the desire to preserve the value of uniqueness that everyman should always claim and pursue.
When “Art awards art” a conjunction of intentions takes place.
We just recently discovered that the first goldsmith to promote artifacts used for awards for special events, was the Maison Lalique for Florio in 1906. The solid gold plaque designed by the French goldsmith René Lalique became a symbol in a world that was not yet ruled by seriality and ratification. Perhaps with a pinch of presumption and utopia, we want to continue imagining a world that still strongly yearns for art and beauty.
